What happens to period tickets purchased before September 7?
All tickets purchased before September 7 remain valid.
I have a monthly ticket. Do I need to tap my card when boarding the vehicle?
No. Holders of monthly tickets should carry one of the FALA System identifiers or the “FALA System” app solely for ticket inspection purposes. They are not required to tap their card on FALA System devices either before starting or after completing their journey.
If a passenger with a monthly ticket wants to purchase a ticket for a fellow passenger, they can do so by tapping their FALA Card or payment card once on a reader or FALA ticket machine. To purchase more than one ticket, the passenger should use a FALA ticket machine, select the type and number of tickets on the touchscreen, and then pay by card.
Where is the Customer Service Point in Słupsk located?
The FALA System Customer Service Point is located at the bus station at 10 Towarowa Street. The point is marked with the FALA logo. It is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
What matters can be handled at the Customer Service Point (POK) in Słupsk?
At the FALA System Customer Service Point, you can:
- purchase personalised period tickets, including the promotional “365-Day Resident Annual Ticket”;
- create a FALA account;
- order a FALA Card to your home address or for collection at the Customer Service Point;
- top up the e-Wallet (using a payment card);
- link your own payment card as an identifier in the FALA System;
- obtain additional information about how the FALA System works.
What should I remember when travelling with a payment card in the FALA System?
- The ticket purchase charge may not appear in your bank account until the following day.
- A pre-authorisation charge may be made during the purchase and will be automatically refunded to the customer’s account.
- During a ticket inspection, tap the same payment card on the inspector’s device that was used to purchase the ticket.
- The system verifies the ticket using a unique number (token) generated from the card. The inspector does not have access to the payment card details.
- If you purchase three single-journey tickets during the same day (at one-hour intervals) by tapping your payment card or FALA Card on FALA System devices inside the vehicle, they will automatically be converted into a 24-hour ticket.
- Tapping the same payment card/FALA Card on the reader a second time does not result in the purchase of another ticket; instead, it ends the validity of the previously purchased ticket. A third tap results in the purchase of a new ticket.
- To purchase several tickets or a reduced-fare ticket, use the FALA ticket machine located in the middle of the vehicle and select the appropriate ticket type on the touchscreen.
- The devices do not print tickets or receipts.
- You can check the validity of your ticket at the FALA ticket machine.
Why is it worth having a FALA System account?
A FALA System account allows you to order a free FALA Card, which passengers can use to travel on public transport in Słupsk.
Holders of a FALA Card or a FALA account linked to their own payment card have all their tickets in one place and do not need to look for points of sale for paper tickets.
Using the FALA System, passengers can purchase tickets through the systemfala.pl portal or using devices located inside vehicles and on platforms, as well as through the app, without the need for paper tickets.
The FALA System also enables the purchase of railway tickets throughout the entire Pomeranian Voivodeship and makes it easier to use public transport, for example in the Tri-City area, Wejherowo, Lębork and Chojnice, as well as rail transport.
Can people without an account use FALA System devices?
Yes. To pay for your journey, simply tap your payment card on the FALA ticket machine or reader at the entrance to the vehicle.
Check-out is optional. Alternatively, you can purchase specific tickets using the FALA ticket machine (via the touchscreen) by selecting the “Buy ticket with payment card” button on the main screen.
Do passengers who are entitled to free travel in Słupsk need to create a FALA account and order a FALA Card?
No, this is not required. During a ticket inspection, it is sufficient to present a document confirming entitlement to free travel or a 100% fare reduction. However, a FALA Card can be useful when travelling around the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Where can I purchase period tickets and the promotional 365-day ticket?
The promotional “365-Day Resident Annual Ticket – Personalised”, which entitles passengers to unlimited travel throughout the year on ZIM Słupsk routes under the Słupsk Resident Card scheme for a symbolic PLN 1 per day, as well as other personalised period tickets, can be purchased in the FALA app, on the systemfala.pl portal and at the Customer Service Point.
Passengers travelling with period tickets are not required to register their journeys using FALA System devices (readers or FALA ticket machines).
What is the “365-Day Resident Annual Ticket – Personalised” GO 365?
The promotional “365-Day Resident Annual Ticket – Personalised” GO 365 entitles passengers to travel throughout the year on Słupsk public transport. It can be purchased multiple times by anyone who holds a Słupsk Resident Card. This ticket can only be purchased through the FALA System.
How does ticket inspection work?
Inspectors are equipped with ticket inspection devices. During an inspection, after the passenger taps their payment card or FALA Card, or scans the QR code from the FALA System app (available in the top-left corner after tapping the passenger’s photo), the inspection device will indicate whether the passenger has a valid ticket.
For tickets purchased using a payment card that is not linked to a FALA account, the inspector checks the ticket in exactly the same way. Importantly, the inspector’s device does not retrieve any data from the card, and the inspector has no access to the data stored on the payment card. The payment card serves solely as a transaction identifier, and the card data is automatically encrypted. When reading the card, the inspector receives only information indicating whether the passenger has a valid ticket assigned to the payment card used for the purchase.
When tickets purchased with a Resident Card are inspected, the passenger must present the Resident Card to the inspector to confirm their entitlement to the reduced fare.
