What does checking in and checking out of a vehicle mean in Chojnice?
Checking in and checking out is for passengers who do not have a monthly pass.
CHECK-IN is an action performed by the passenger, consisting of immediately and successfully tapping a FALA Card/payment card against a falomat/reader in the vehicle. The card reading will be confirmed by a beep and a corresponding message on the device.
CHECK-OUT is an action performed by the passenger, consisting of successfully tapping a FALA Card/payment card against a falomat/reader in the vehicle. This must be done before the stop where the passenger intends to get off. The card reading will be confirmed by a beep and a corresponding message on the device. If you fail to check out, the system will charge you for a ticket covering zones A+B+C.
Unregistered passengers (e.g., tourists) can also check in/out using their own payment card. Alternatively, they can choose another option (without check-in/check-out) by purchasing a specific ticket on the falomat's touch screen – in this case, the passenger does not register when entering or exiting the bus.
ATTENTION! Passengers with a period ticket (season ticket) are not required to check in or check out of the vehicle.
