How does the ticket inspection work?
Ticket inspectors use specialized mobile devices to verify your fare. During an inspection, the device will show which tickets are assigned to your account after you present a FALA System identifier.
You can prove your right to travel using:
-
A FALA Card.
-
A payment card (bank card).
-
A QR code from the FALA mobile app (located in the top-left corner after clicking on the passenger's photo).
Security and Privacy: If you purchased a ticket using a payment card not linked to a FALA account, the process is exactly the same. Your data is safe:
-
No data collection: The inspector's device does not download any personal or financial information from your card.
-
Encryption: The payment card acts only as a transaction identifier, and the data is automatically encrypted.
-
Limited Information: The inspector only sees whether there is a valid ticket assigned to that specific card. They have no access to your bank balance or account details.
