What does "registering entry and exit" mean in Lębork?
Registering entry and exit is required for all passengers except those with a monthly (season) ticket.
-
Check-in (Registering Entry): This is done by immediately tapping your FALA Card or payment card against a falomat or reader upon boarding. A successful scan is confirmed by a beep and a message on the device screen.
- Check-out (Registering Exit): This is done by tapping the same card against the device before you reach the stop where you intend to get off. A successful scan is confirmed by a beep and a message.
Note: If you fail to check out, the system will charge you for the entire route of that bus line (up to the last stop).
Traveling without a FALA account (e.g., Tourists): Unregistered passengers can also use the check-in/check-out system with their own payment card. This automatically purchases a standard single-journey ticket.
Alternative option: If you prefer not to use check-in/check-out, you can simply purchase a specific ticket using the falomat touch screen. In this case, you do not need to tap your card when entering or exiting.
IMPORTANT: Passengers with a valid season (monthly) ticket are not required to register their entry or exit.
