How does a ticket inspection work in the FALA System in Lębork?
Inspectors are equipped with specialized handheld inspection devices. During an inspection, after you tap your FALA System identifier against the device, it will display which tickets have been purchased and linked to your account. Valid identifiers include:
-
A FALA Card;
-
A payment card;
-
A QR code from the mobile app (accessible in the top-left corner by clicking on the passenger's photo).
In the case of tickets purchased with a payment card not linked to a FALA account, the inspection process is exactly the same. Importantly, the inspector's device does not collect any personal data from the card, and the inspector has no access to the banking information on the card being checked. The payment card serves solely as a transaction identifier, and all card data is automatically encrypted. When scanning the card, the inspector only receives confirmation of whether the passenger holds a valid ticket linked to the payment card used for the purchase.
