Słupsk – podróżowanie z FALĄ

What are falomats and readers (validators)?

FALOMATS AND READERS are FALA System devices used by passengers to purchase tickets. Every FALA device is marked with the logos of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the FALA System.

Who can use falomats and readers? FALA devices can be used by both FALA account holders and those who do not have an account in the system.

What are falomats for? FALOMATS, which are devices equipped with a touchscreen, are usually located in the area designated for strollers/wheelchairs – in the middle of the vehicle. They primarily enable:

  • Journey registration/automatic ticket purchase – by tapping a FALA Card or a payment card, which is equivalent to buying a ticket (if a passenger has discounts assigned to their FALA Account, they will be applied). The ticket price is consistent with the current tariff in the given city.

  • Automatic ticket purchase via QR code – by scanning the QR code from the app (available in the top left corner after clicking the photo). This QR code is one of the FALA System identifiers, just like the FALA Card or a payment card assigned to a FALA account. The QR code scanner is located at the bottom of READERS and FALOMATS (on the right side of the device).

  • Purchasing any selected ticket using the touchscreen:

    • FALA account holders -> purchase a ticket with a FALA Card using funds from the e-wallet via the "Buy ticket with FALA account" button. If they wish to pay with a payment card, they must use the "Buy ticket with payment card" button.

    • People without a FALA account -> purchase a ticket by paying with a payment card via the "Buy ticket with payment card" button.

  • Checking e-wallet balance or active tickets (via the "Your FALA Account" button).

In every case, passengers purchase an electronic ticket; it is not printed by the falomat, and no paper confirmation is generated. This means the ticket is assigned to the passenger's FALA account or the payment card used for the purchase. Transaction information will be saved in the client's payment history (on the systemfala.pl portal and in the app).

What are readers for? READERS are usually located at every door of the vehicle. They enable journey registration/automatic ticket purchase by tapping a FALA Card, a payment card, or scanning a QR code from the app. This is equivalent to purchasing a ticket (discounts assigned to a FALA Account will be applied). The ticket price follows the city's official tariff.

On both devices, passengers purchase an e-ticket – an electronic ticket available as a QR or barcode. It is a modern, digital version of the traditional paper ticket.
