What to keep in mind when traveling with a payment card in the FALA System?
-
After purchasing a ticket with a payment card via a falomat or a reader (FALA system devices), the ticket fee will be visible on your bank account at the earliest on the following day.
-
When purchasing a ticket, a pre-authorization fee may be charged, which is later refunded to the customer's account.
-
During a ticket inspection, you must tap the same payment card used to purchase the ticket against the inspector’s device. A unique number called a "token" is generated from the card, allowing the inspector to verify if a ticket was purchased for that card. The inspector does not have access to any other data on your card.
-
Smart capping: If you purchase three single-journey tickets within 24 hours (at intervals of at least one hour) by tapping your payment card or FALA Card against the devices in the vehicle, they will automatically be converted into a 24-hour ticket.
-
To purchase several tickets or a discounted ticket, you must use the falomat (the device located in the middle of the vehicle) and select the specific ticket types on the touch screen.
-
The devices do not print tickets or receipts.
-
You can check the validity of your ticket at a falomat.
