How does ticket inspection work in the FALA System in the Tricity?
Inspectors are equipped with special inspection devices. During an inspection, after you tap a FALA System identifier (such as a FALA Card or a payment card) or scan a QR code from the mobile app (available in the upper left corner after clicking on the passenger's photo), the device will display which tickets have been purchased and assigned to that account.
In the case of tickets purchased with a payment card not linked to a FALA account, the verification of travel rights is carried out by the inspector in exactly the same way. Importantly, the inspector's device does not collect any data from the card, and the inspector has no access to the data on the payment card being inspected. The payment card serves solely as a transaction identifier, and the card data is automatically encrypted. When reading the card, the inspector only receives information on whether the passenger has a valid ticket assigned to the payment card used for the purchase.
