System FALA

What are "falomats" and readers (validators)?

FALOMATS and READERS are FALA system devices used by passengers to purchase tickets. Every FALA device is marked with the logos of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the FALA System.

Who can use falomats and readers?

FALA devices can be used by both FALA account holders and individuals who do not have an account in the system.

What is the purpose of falomats?

FALOMATS are touch-screen devices usually located in the designated area for strollers and wheelchairs (in the middle of the vehicle). They primarily enable:

  • Entry Registration / Automatic Ticket Purchase – by tapping a FALA Card or a payment card. This is equivalent to purchasing a ticket (any concessions assigned to your FALA Account will be automatically applied). The ticket price follows the tariff applicable in the given city.

  • Automatic Ticket Purchase via QR Code – by scanning the QR code from the app (accessible in the top-left corner by clicking on your photo). This QR code serves as one of the FALA System identifiers, similar to the FALA Card or a payment card linked to the account. The QR code scanner is located at the bottom of both READERS and FALOMATS (on the right side of the device).

  • Purchasing a Specific Ticket via Touch Screen:

    • FALA account holders can buy a ticket with their FALA Card using e-Wallet funds via the "Buy ticket with FALA account" button. If they wish to pay with a payment card, they should use the "Buy ticket with payment card" button.

    • Individuals without a FALA account can buy a ticket with a payment card via the "Buy ticket with payment card" button.

  • Checking Account Balance or Tickets – users can check their e-Wallet funds or active tickets using the "Your FALA Account" button.

In every case, passengers purchase an electronic ticket (e-ticket). No paper ticket or physical receipt is printed. This means the ticket is digitally assigned to your FALA account or the payment card used for the purchase. Transaction details are saved in the client's payment history (available on the systemfala.pl portal and in the app).

What is the purpose of readers?

READERS are usually located near every door of the vehicle. They enable entry registration and automatic ticket purchase by tapping a FALA Card, a payment card, or scanning a QR code from the app. This is equivalent to purchasing a ticket (concessions assigned to the FALA Account will be applied). The price corresponds to the tariff in the given city.

On both devices, passengers purchase an e-ticket—an electronic ticket in the form of a QR or barcode. It is a modern, digital alternative to the traditional paper ticket.
