System FALA

How does ticket inspection work in the FALA System?

Ticket inspectors are equipped with inspection devices. During the inspection, after presenting a payment card, a FALA card, or scanning the QR code from the FALA System app (available in the upper left corner after clicking on the passenger's photo), the inspection device will indicate whether the passenger has purchased a ticket.

For tickets purchased with a payment card not assigned to a FALA account, the ticket inspector reads the ticket in exactly the same way. Importantly, the inspection device does not collect any data from the card, and the inspector does not have access to the data on the inspected payment card. The payment card is only a transaction identifier, and the card data is automatically encrypted. When reading the card, the inspector only receives information about whether the passenger has a valid ticket assigned to the payment card used to make the purchase.
