Can I travel using my own payment card in the FALA System?
Yes. A FALA user with an account can travel with their own payment card just as they would with a FALA Card. To do this, simply link the card to your account as an identifier. You can do this yourself via the app or the passenger portal, or visit a FALA Customer Service Point for assistance.
Please remember to also add your payment card as a payment method in the app under the ACCOUNT -> Payments tab, or via the systemfala.pl portal under SETTINGS -> Payments.
Passengers do not need to worry about the security of their funds. Through a process called tokenization, a certified banking entity replaces your card number with a unique and secure string of digits (a payment token). This ensures that your card data remains inaccessible to unauthorized persons.
NOTE! You can also travel with a payment card without having a FALA account by simply tapping it against a reader or falomat at the start of your journey. Regardless of how you travel, during a ticket inspection, the inspector will only have access to your travel authorization data and not to your account balance or personal banking details.
