Why can't I personalize my account in the FALA System? (Error message appears)
If you see a red "Error" message, it means that for an unknown reason, the personalization process was unsuccessful.
In many cases, this issue is similar to the "Card read error" that occurs when purchasing a ticket. The most common reason is that the payment card was held against the device for too short a time.
To resolve this, try placing your card on the validator again and holding it there for a few seconds until a green confirmation message appears along with a light signal. If the problem persists, consider contacting Customer Support.
