No. Monthly ticket holders are only required to have one of the FALA System identifiers or the "System FALA" app with them for ticket inspection purposes. They are not required to tap their card against FALA System devices at either the start or the end of their journey.

If a passenger with a monthly ticket wishes to purchase a ticket for a fellow traveler, they can do so by tapping their FALA Card or payment card once against a reader or falomat. To purchase more than one additional ticket, the passenger should use a falomat, select the type and number of tickets on the touch screen, and then pay by card.
